Spring 2009
Join us for the next Texile History Forum at Cooperstown!
The next Forum will take place in May or June of 2009 at the New York State Historical Association & The Farmers' Museum in beautiful Cooperstown, NY. This exciting conference brings together textile enthusiasts from all over the country to hear juried paper presentations, participate in hands-on workshops, tour NYSHA’s amazing collection, exchange ideas, and network.
Each person who registers for the two-day conference receives a copy of the Textile History Forum Proceedings, which collects all papers presented at the forum; complimentary admission to both museums; lunch both days; a special tour of Thistle Hill Weavers, Rabbit Goody's Studio; access to all presentations; and the chance to participate in a workshop.
On Saturday evening, the Forum will host a banquet and textile auction. All textile enthusiasts are encouraged to attend! The banquet is a wonderful opportunity to meet friends, and the auction is a fun, low-key exchange of textile treasures that helps to fund the next Forum.
